Fette Electronics was started in 1962 by Richard Fette.  His father had a radio repair business in Owatonna. Richard grew up helping his father repairing the vacuum tube radios of that era..  He also helped his father run the Owatonna movie theater.  In 1957 Richard entered the Air Force and did electronics repair on radios and radar equipment on the aircrafts.  He also had a radio and TV repair business in Little Rock Arkansas.  In 1962 after leaving the air force he brought his family to Faribault and opened the business on the 100 block of 1st Ave.  In 1967 Fette Electronics moved to its current location at 205 Central Ave.  In 1984 Richard expanded to the building next door. He is retired.  (Sons) David and Roger and daughter Kim incorporated the business in 2011 and now the current owners. All three have many years in the business. Son-n-law Mike Morrow runs the Security Division with over 20 years of experience.  David JR is also employeed full time at the business.
